one month

We will be home in less than a month!
In the meantime I'll be:
Getting the 7th graders ready for our second annual Christmas play. We've had a little bit more time to prepare this year, but we also added a dance and a choir. Plus, we'll be in the auditorium instead of the classroom, which just makes things so much more complicated. For one thing these loud little Barranquilleros who have no problem yelling at the top of their lungs in the hallways and classrooms get shy on stage and can't be heard. Also, the stage is huge and our setting budget all depends on tomorrow's bake sale fundraiser. Ah well, I'm sure it will work out...somehow.

Hosting a baby shower and a bachelorette party

And making a list of foods that Mom should make. Beginning with:
wild rice soup
pot roast
Texas chocolate cake
tortilla soup
pecan pie
anything from the crockpot
homemade pizza
chicken enchiladas
and
garlic mashed potatoes

Plus, I guess I should be spending some time at the gym if I plan on eating all of that
